Airport Advisory Committee
The Airport Advisory Committee provides guidance and recommendations on the operation, maintenance, and development of the town’s airport. Made up of community members, aviation professionals, and stakeholders, the committee works to ensure the airport meets local needs, supports economic growth, and operates safely and efficiently.

Board Of Appeals
The Board of Appeals hears and decides on requests for exceptions to local ordinances, including zoning variances, administrative appeals, and special permits. This board ensures that property owners have a fair opportunity to present their cases while upholding the town’s regulations and comprehensive plan. Meetings are open to the public, and decisions are made through a transparent, legal process.

Board Of Assessors
The Board of Assessors is responsible for overseeing property assessments to ensure fair and equitable taxation within the town. The board reviews property values, addresses taxpayer concerns, and applies state laws and local policies related to property assessment. Their work helps maintain a balanced and transparent tax system that supports essential town services.

Budget Committee
The Budget Committee plays a key role in the town’s financial planning by reviewing, recommending, and advising on the annual budget. Working closely with town officials, the committee ensures that public funds are allocated responsibly and in line with community priorities. Meetings are open to the public to encourage transparency and citizen input in the budgeting process.

Cemetery Committee
The purpose of the Committee is to oversee capital maintenance and special projects of the Town-owned cemeteries and to annually review and make necessary recommendations to the Select Board concerning the Cemetery Ordinance, Cemetery Fees, Cemetery Budget, and Cemetery Operations.

Comprehensive Plan Committee
The committee is tasked with updating the most recent comprehensive plan (completed in 1997) to serve as a roadmap for how residents would like to see the community develop in areas such as housing, economic development, land use, preservation of natural resources, recreation, and transportation. The process of updating the plan is intended to be collaborative, with residents and community stakeholders providing input alongside Town leadership and staff to create a common vision for Norridgewock that will drive the community forward.
