Norridgewock’s municipal government operates under a Town Meeting/Select Board/Town Manager form of government. The Town Meeting form, unique to New England, is widely regarded as one of the purest expressions of democratic governance, giving residents a direct and meaningful role in shaping the policies and direction of their community.
